The
Big Canoe Story
From dawn to glorious sunset, Chipmunk Crossing at Big Canoe brings nature to
the forefront. A gorgeous blend of greens, reds, browns, and blues with nights
so quiet and still that you feel you must be the only one living high up on this
mountain top. Clearly the most relaxing peaceful place you could ever be as time
seems to disappear on the wings of soaring eagles rising on mountain
thermals.
Nature is everywhere. From the deer and hawks, to yes, the occasional bear. Life
on the mountain is as it should be, as we should be, living and a part of nature.
This is how nature should be experienced, nestled on the side of a mountain,
looking out over spacious and awe inspiring views, relaxing as you fish a well
stocked lake or sliding down a huge rock water slide on a warm summers day into cool refreshing waters
below. And lest we forget, the awesome colors of fall when the mountain leaves
seem to burst into a magnificent parade that cascades over and down the mountain
as you savior the cool
air in the the early evening dusk. And winter, with snow on the mountain, and
clear skies that seem to let you view forever, curled up in warmth next to a
roaring fireplace, again peace and harmony prevail.
Oh... but don't think it's just about peace and tranquility, though there is no
better place in the world to relax. There's Hiking, Biking, Swimming, Boating, Fishing, Shopping, Fitness centers and Spas. There's Golf and Tennis and
Dining and attractions and so much more than you could ever believe in a part of
the world where everything is distant yet nearby as well. You and
the kids can go swimming in two different saltwater pools, or race down a rock
water flume into the lake. It's all here right within Big Canoe on over 8000 acres,
but
just a few steps away from your door. Visit area attractions, pan for Gold in Dahlonega, visit Amicalola Falls State Park viewable in the distance from your back deck. Dine at
some truly outstanding restaurants inside and just outside of Big Canoe, in Dahlonega, or
Jasper- First City of the Mountains. Take life easy or play hard and come back
to a place you can call home. It's all here at Chipmunk Crossing at Big Canoe.
